The leaves changed later this year than normal, although just in time for this shoot.  When it starts getting cold and all the leaves have changed, this is my favorite time of year! Nothing is better than a nice cool fall day. Well maybe a nice cool fall day out for engagement pics with a young couple in love.  I’m going to be honest these two made my job way to easy.  I enjoyed sitting back watching  Jenna and Stephen play back and forth with each other just firing away. I’ve been crazy busy obviously since I haven’t posted. I wanted to blog Jen and Chase’s engagement pics before their wedding pics were up. Alright I know what your thinking, no learning to fly is not some metaphor for this young couple’s love ready to take off into flight.  Don’t give me that much credit I’m not that deep.  Ian and Katie happen to be two really good friends of mine.  Ian happens to be a pilot and every time I here the Pink Floyd song, Learning to Fly, it reminds me of him.  I’ll never here the end of this from my friends if I don’t clarify a little more.  No Ian I’m not thinking about you day in and day out, so all our buddy’s can leave out the emails of me daydreaming about the possibility of a  bromance.  Alright all the kidding aside check out my FAV’S

I love trying to capture the love a couple has on “film” day in and day out.  Sometimes it can be hard for me to explain to the different people I’m shooting exactly what I’m going for.  I love to watch how they start out a little stiff and weary of the camera popping off around them here and there.  Slowly, the more comfortable they become with me, the more they slip into their true selves just enjoying being close to one another during the shoot.  Watching Dustin and Lindsey together made my day.  It was like they did this every day for a living. Comfortable and playful together right out of the gate.  Non-stop fun and laughing, in fact I was laughing so hard I had to stop shooting a few times.  Needless to say I can’t wait for the BIG Day.
