I really love that lady….

Tue October 14th, 2008 Portraits

The other day I was blessed to hang out with my good friend Charlie. It’s been a full year since I’ve played with her and my how many things change in a year. Charlie is playing soccer, climbing trees, playing in dirt piles and of course…running fom me. She also has some BIG changes coming her way…she’s going to be a big sister!! YEAH!! We had SOOO much fun playing and running that when I got home I called Jillian, her mom, and said, “Jillian, thank you again for having me come out and photograph Charlie. It’s always so much fun to see you guys”. She said, “Heather, Charlie had so much fun she told me twice after you left, Mom, I really love that lady”. Well Charlie….I love you too!

First…we’ll start off with a family picture… :) Probably one of my favorites!

I just love this picture of Matt and Jillian….makes me SMILE!

Um..how cute are they????

:)

Seriously Charlie….you are too cute for words…

Who dosen’t like to play in dirt?

AYKM?

These boots are made for walkin….Or…running in Charlie’s case….

Soccer TIME!!!

After climbing trees, playing in the dirt, kicking the soccer ball, and posing with mom and dad, I think I wore her out! Umm…in all reality…I think she wore me out.

Love you Charlie. See you next time.

Love,

That really cool lady

Status update….

Mon October 6th, 2008 Portraits

Thank you all so much for your comments, your emails, your phone calls and your prayers. I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know.

A quick status update on Liv….she slept last night for the first time all night. Our family doctor (who I love SOOO MUCH) called me at 9:00 pm last night and recommended I mix equal parts Maalox and Benadryl to help with her mouth sores. So we started that last night. She still has a ton of sores in her mouth and is eating very little. Today I’m running to the store to get some ice cream so I can start making shakes here instead of heading to Dairy Queen every few hours!! Ha ha.

I’ve also brought my whole office home so that she can stay here and be comfortable and I can still get some work done. So if you need me for the next few days, please try to reach me on my cell phone 816-729-1287.

Other than that, I’m just trying to maintain my sanity. It’s so trying to watch her suffer and you can do nothing but give Tylenol and Motrin every four hours.

I keep reminding myself…this too shall pass. :)

Thu June 12th, 2008 Personal, Portraits

Brittany’s previous modeling pictures were so well liked by the modeling agency they wanted to see more! So what did we do…we gave em more. This time…we wanted to show her fashionista side of her. I think we succeeded…how about you? Good luck Brittany on your modeling/acting. I know you’ll do great!! Love you!

Lincoln - Newborn

Tue June 10th, 2008 Personal, Portraits

As most of you know, last Tuesday was my daughter’s first day of Kindergarten summer school. Big day for me, right? Well you would all be proud. I didn’t cry a drop. I held it in and stayed strong as I feared the second a tear would break loose then Olivia would start crying too. So there I was, shopping at Wal-Mart getting Olivia a little “surprise” so when she got out of school I would have something to give her as a “atta girl…I’m so proud of you”. My cell phone rings and it’s my sister. Her voice has this joy that can’t be described, her daughter, Kelsie was IN LABOR. I mean, REAL Labor this time. She was in the car on the way to the hospital and had to call and tell me. It was THEN that I started crying. The happiness that came over me was nothing short of overwhelming. As I stood there holding the Hannah Montana shirt in my hand I cried. So happy for what was about to happen to my beloved niece. So excited about the miracle that was about to happen. Lincoln was born just a few short hours after that call and thus began my impromptu road trip Friday to make a surprise visit to my niece and her husband and the new angel that entered their lives. After 2 hours of a car ride I LEAPED out of the car and SKIPPED into the house. Olivia I think was EVEN MORE excited to see LEANCON (hee hee) than me (if that’s possible). My eyes quickly focused on one of the most precious things I have ever seen……..there he laid. Four days old, seven pounds light and a whole 20 inches long. :)

Ahhh Lincoln…you are so young and so new….you have no idea what a blessing you are. I’m so glad Aunt Heather and Olivia got to come see you for a few hours and take your picture. I LOVE YOU.

hmmmm….this makes me want to snuggle……

His Great Grandpa was shining down on him. :)

I love this shot I grabbed of Kelsie, her mom and Lincoln.

Livy was so excited to see Lincoln!!!

Daddy, Mommy and Lincoln. :)

This is one of my favorite images of the day…

Are you kidding me? Seriously…could he be any cuter?

Another fav…… :)

I love this picture of my sister. She’s so beautiful and so HAPPY! :)

Happy heart. :) I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture of Brandon and his son. :)

Of course I couldn’t leave without a picture of me and him. I wasn’t excited to hold him at all! HHHAHAAAHAH!

Congrats Kelsie and Brandon. I love you both and I’m so happy I was able to see you and take pictures of Lincoln that will bring you happiness for years to come. :)
