Halloween, Olivia and everything in between….

Wed November 4th, 2009 Announcements, Personal

Halloween this year, ROCKED MY SOCKS OFF!!! First we started off with our annual carving extravaganza!! Neighbors and friends all gathered around for what I feel is like one of the best years ever!! Check em out!!

My friend Melissa offered to carve the one I WANTED to do but didn’t have the patience for. :)

Liv was pretty proud of her pumpkin… :)

Even Deano and Maria came for some Halloween fun!!

Maria loved Deano’s pumpkin…see below :)

Jake got a kick out of it too. :)

The final product…How cool are they???

Sorry I didn’t have my D3 around when I was photographing the kiddos at night so if you want to see the pictures of Olivia all dressed up you’re going to have to check out my FACEBOOK account with all the other pictures. And if you and I aren’t FACEBOOK FRIENDS..all I can say is…WHY NOT???

Now on to Olivia - and everything else in between…

As everyone knows, I’m due to have our second child in t minus 19 days. Yeah - 19 days. Wow. For some reason, that number has hit me hard today. If I go full term in 19 days I will have a brand new baby girl and our family of three is now going to be a family of four. The excitement I’m feeling can hardly be described.  I dream about the moment where my baby girl, Olivia, sees her sister for the first time and what that means for us. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little sad that my time with it being just Olivia and I is coming to an end. For six and a half years - it’s just been the three of us and I know that in about 19 days that’s going to change forever. Obviously for the good, but still…our dynamic is going to change. So - yesterday it was my birthday, and I wanted to photograph her one last time before she herself changed from Olivia - to Olivia - Jillian’s big sister. All I have to say is Jillian is one lucky girl because Olivia is going to be the best big sister ever. Wow - to the cool things that are going to be going down….VERY SOON! We’ll keep you posted!!!

Until then - here are some pictures of Olivia that I snagged. My oh my how she has grown in FRONT OF MY EYES!! SPEAKING of eyes…..

Olivia, my love, thank you for blessing my life. You make me want to be a better mom/person each and everyday.

Love you,

Mom

Excuse the HORRIBLE mobile picture of me but I wanted to share a picture of my baby belly. Calling it a bump is a little far fetched at this stage in the game ha ha! Good news, I think this weekend I’m having a professional maternity picture taken (I know..finally) so hopefully I can give you something better to look at very soon. :)

Anna Senior Pictures + Outdoor Senior Portraits

Fri October 23rd, 2009 High School Seniors

I know, it’s been a while since I last posted, but to my defense, I’ve been working OVERTIME trying to get everyone’s picture taken, album designed, prints ordered before my maternity leave. If you can believe it, I’m due a MONTH from today…AHH!!! We are so excited and Olivia is bouncing off the walls knowing that baby Jillian will be here soon. With that being said, I have TONS and TONS of pictures to share with you. So many photo shoots have taken place in the last month so be prepared…they are coming. I’ll first start off with Anna. The MOMENT I met her I fell head over heels for her and her family. I know I say this time and time again, but seriously - I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have such great clients and I’m so blessed that I get to be a part of so many peoples lives. :)

Anna saw Emily’s senior pictures and knew that we were the studio for her. Check em out!

Rosemarie & Phil + Outdoor Engagement Session

Wed October 7th, 2009 Engagements

I know, I know…it’s been way to long since I’ve blogged. Believe me, I KNOW THIS!! Because the baby is going to be here in about 7 weeks I’ve been trying to fit everyone’s family session in before I got on maternity leave so that doesn’t leave me much time. Good news, I have TONS to blog about so if you are excited to see some new stuff - it’s coming your way. :)

Let’s start off with Rosemarie and Phil’s engagement pictures. This couple is near and dear to my heart because I met them last year at Jillian and Anthony’s wedding. As I said before and I’ll say it again, my favorite part about my job is the people I get to meet. Had I not been a part of Jillian and Anthony’s wedding I would have never met Rosemarie and Phil. :) I LOOOOVVVEEE MY JOB!! :)

On to the good stuff…

Hello beautiful light…hello beautiful people. :)

Made you smile…didn’t I? :)

Ro - you are drop dead gorgeous…that’s all I have to say. :)

MMMMEEEOOOWWW!!

One of my absolute favs!! :)

BRING THAT IN TIGHT!! OW OW. :)

Okay I lied…this is one of my favorites..wait…I’m the BOSS..I can have more than one! :)

Phil - I’m not mad at you at all for being so good looking. NOT AT ALL. :)

Ro and Phil - Love you guys. Can’t wait for your wedding!!

The countdown to Jillian…

Thu September 17th, 2009 Personal

According to Olivia, “we are never going to have this baby”. Sometimes I actually feel that way but in reality know that it will be here sooner than I know what to do with. So instead of trying to explain over and over how many more weeks I have until I’m due, I got a good suggestion from a friend that we should make a chain so Olivia could have a little count down to Jillian’s arrival. She gets to remove a chain EVERY SUNDAY!! What a fun project this was!!! I told Olivia to decorate every single piece of construction paper the way she wanted to. On some she drew pictures for her little sister and on some she wrote notes to her. I swear, watching her get so excited to meet her little sister is one of the most amazing things ever. She’s going to be an AWESOME big sister!! Since making this chain we’ve removed THREE, yes THREE, chains. The weeks are FLYING BY!! I can’t believe we are going to be a family of FOUR in just a few more weeks. :)

On a side note:  I’m going to be taking off some maternity time in November and December. If you have albums, or prints you want to order I recommend trying to get that in PRIOR to my delivery so you can have them in time for Christmas gifts! :)

I love how super excited she is…..

R U KIDDING ME?? I LOVE HER SOOO MUCH!!! Jillian is so lucky to have you as a big sister. :)

xoxoxox

I helped her on a few. :)

The finished product!!! :)

Last but not least, thought I’d share a photo from our 3D sonogram. I went to Belly Imaging and they were AWESOME! I highly recommend them.

I love this picture of her cause she’s smiling in it. :)

Olivia is a First Grader….

Wed September 16th, 2009 Personal

Once upon a time, Olivia started first grade and her super cool mom (not) didn’t get around to blogging it until now. Oh well, better late than never, right? Well, her first day of school this year was COMPLETELY different than last year. On this day all I could do is stand in awe. I still can’t believe that she’s a first grader and now has AN AGENDA that she writes in! YEAH…MY BIG GIRL HAS A DAILY AGENDA NOW!! AGHHH!! Here are a few pictures of her getting ready for the first day of school. Enjoy!

okay seriously…my baby…IS NOT A BABY!!! :(

Compared to the years before…it’s like she’s grown SOOO MUCH!! Man, she’s so sweet! :)

First day of Kindergarten.

If you want to see more pictures of her first day of school in years past…GO HERE.

Livy - I hope you know how much I love you and how proud I am of you. You are such an amazing little girl with a wonderful spirit. I love watching you grow and open new chapters in your life. I’m so honored to be YOUR MOM!!

Love you,

Mom
