Where do I even begin with this wedding!!! Wow!!
Sarah and Cory’s wedding was different than any other wedding I’ve shot this year. One, because it was in ARIZONA (HELL YEAH) but more importantly, I’ve known Sarah since we were in SECOND GRADE! We lived up the street from each other most of our lives and if you would have told me twenty some years ago I would be photographing her wedding, I wouldn’t have believed you. But there I was, in this beautiful resort, watching one of my best friends get married and was able to photographer it for her. IT was AMAZING! I also pulled triple duty and did her hair, her maid of honor’s hair, her makeup and you guessed it…HER PICTURES! Boooyeahh!!! Seriously, there were SOOO many pictures to choose from so I tried to narrow down to just a “few” that I wanted to share.
The shoes…seriously amazing!

Her dad was so happy that day. I think this is one of the FEW pictures I got of him not crying.

Sarah is simply STUNNING. Sorry, but I went OTT on some bridal portraits.

I was always so jealous of her OVER THE TOP amazing eyes.

I fell in love with each of her girls. They are SOOO awesome.

Her flowers were sooo pretty.

You funny Heather…you funny……

Lord, I’m not mad at you for making him so good lookin. Not mad at all.

One word. Yum.

I love this shot of Sarah and her mom before she walked down the aisle.

LOVE THIS KISSING SHOT!!

HUSBAND AND WIFE! YYYYYEEEAAAHH!!!

Her dress was so big, she had to have the coordinator help her up the stairs! Ha ha.

Soo happy.

This gives me goose bumps.

Cactus, CHECK! Moon, CHECK! Hot bride and groom - DOUBLE CHECK!! I love Arizona!! AHHH!

LOOOVE THIS SHOT!! Steve (my brother from another mother) on the left takes the cake for the SWEETEST JUMP! Billie (not my brother but still a nice guy - far right) high five for managing to jump with a drink in your hand, Ted the duck in the other and still look awesome!
The rest of ya….Props for being so awesome and having fun with me. LOVE YOU ALL!

The decorations on the inside were SOOO pretty.

Some photobooth lovin….

I didn’t have fun in the photo booth at all. Matter of fact, it sucked. Sucked so bad I went over and over again!

Night fell fast and I wanted to experiment with some cool lighting. I did this all with natural light given and my camera. No extra lights, no tripod. If you have a bride and groom willing….always see if you can experiment!!!
Sarah…you are sooo beautiful.

MEOW!

LOVE THIS SHOT!!

The band was amazing and throughout the night…everyone took a turn to sing a few songs!

So…there is a HUGE story about this duck (who is referred to as Ted). Let’s just say, he was a major part of the whole wedding experience and because of that, I thought there would be no better way to showcase the rings, than on Ted.

Sarah and Cory, how can I even begin to thank you for asking ME to photograph your wedding. Cory, I love you with all my heart. The first time I met you, I knew you were the one for Sarah. You have brought so much happiness to her life and I love you for that. Sarah, being such a big part of your day was awesome. I must admit, the thought of doing hair, makeup and photography was a bit scary but being with you all day, and doing that was SOO awesome. I got to share every moment with you and I will cherish that forever. I love you so much and I can’t wait for the next twenty plus years of our lives. Congratulations on finding the love of your life. I’m so happy for you. LOVE YOU!!
